COLA Guideline

"Assess the accuracy of computer calculations as part of your quality assessment program. This can be easily performed by reviewing the formulas entered in the computer and performing manual calculations for comparison. Perform this check periodically and whenever software changes or upgrades to instruments or computers are installed. If problems are detected, re-evaluate current procedures and institute changes to address the identified cause(s). Document the review process and any actions taken."

There are variations for some of these calculations, be sure to check those set up in your systems.
